What resolution does large format artwork need?
Large prints are viewed from further away, so they don't need the 300 DPI you'd use for a business card. For most banners and posters, 100–150 DPI at the final printed size looks sharp. Vector files (AI, EPS or vector PDF) scale to any size without losing quality.
What's the difference between indoor and outdoor banners?
Outdoor banners use heavier, weather-resistant vinyl and reinforced edges with grommets so they hold up to wind, rain and sun. Indoor pieces can use lighter materials, so they're often more economical and look smoother up close.
Can you print custom sizes?
Large format work is printed to the size you need rather than a fixed sheet. Tell us the exact width and height in the quote form, and we'll confirm the best way to produce it.
